    Where to start

    • Former citizens and descendants up to the third degree may regain citizenship under art. 11 of Law 21/1991.
    • Non-EU nationals generally need a work authorisation, a long-stay visa and a residence permit.
    • Romania provides a long-stay visa for digital nomads.
