Short answer
AML advisory answers a concrete question about your situation — for example whether a new activity brings you under Law 129/2019, which authority supervises you, or how a group policy fits Romanian rules. It is narrower than ongoing compliance work and starts from the facts you describe.
Typical situations
Entering the Romanian market
A foreign group sets up a Romanian company and needs to know whether the planned activity falls under art. 5 of Law 129/2019.
A new line of business
An existing Romanian company starts an activity that may be covered by the AML rules, such as one listed among the reporting entities.
Group policies
A parent company applies a group-wide AML policy and wants to know what must be adapted for the Romanian entity.
Change of owner
A share transfer or restructuring changes who the beneficial owner is and the declaration at the Trade Register must be updated.
